His history
Born in Toulon in 1967, it's no surprise that this native of the South of France chose the Cannes Film Festival for his first professional photo assignment in 1986.
Photographer for the Sipa Press agency since 1994, David Nivière has made his reputation in photojournalism by covering reports all over the world (from royal weddings to national holidays, festivals, Oscars, humanitarian trips, portraits and corporate reports...).
A true sports fan, he has also covered the biggest sporting events including the 1998 Football World Cup and the Rugby World Cups as well as the Winter and Summer Olympics.
